WAKO DANZA/EDUARDO ZÚÑIGA presenta HELLOUSES Y GOODBYESES

HELLOUSES Y GOODBYESES is the debut show by Wako Danza, a platform led by dancer and choreographer Eduardo Zúñiga, where dance, health, interdisciplinary arts, and text converge to create connections and spaces for conversation.

In this work, dancers and choreographers Eduardo and Diana address the importance of physical contact between human beings and the need for a sense of touch in the frenetic way of life we currently experience, which has caused changes and limitations in our interactions. It is a project that stems from improvisation and collective movement creation, aiming to play and experiment with the changes that the environment provokes in our bodies.

CIA. KIKO LÓPEZ presents HONEST

HONEST is a small fragment, in which the protagonist immerses himself, through the animation of an object (a lamp), in an internal challenge to find the most beautiful side of the human being. In doing so, the object comes to life and, together with the protagonist, embarks on a journey of play and rejection accompanied by a fragile, vulnerable, and honest gaze. The conversation between these two beings will create an atmosphere in which self-acceptance, with all its colours, becomes the ultimate goal.

Kiko López is a Valencian dancer and choreographer. He studied at prestigious academies such as Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre and Broadway Dance Center NY, where he received training in Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance, Tribal Dances, and Modern Jazz. He has worked with renowned international dance companies (Lali Ayguadé Company, Cía Baal, Physical Momentum, etc.). Currently, he works with the companies Les Impuxiblees, Zero en Conducta, and on his own company’s projects.

INSTITUT VALENCIÀ DE CULTURA presents VORÀGINE

A street production by the Institut Valencià de Cultura, written and directed by Pepa Cases. VORÁGINE is a cry to society, a blow to the stomach, a slap to wake up. A show with poetry and brutality, with controversy and reason, with guilt and that, mostly unpunished. A protagonist, five twists of fate and a crowd that can observe, take sides, reflect, get excited, even laugh, but that yes, can possibly return home with the certainty that something needs to change.
